I’m hoping for a bit of monotony tomorrow for the checkride. So I’d be happy even with no #9 either. 😉

Wind & Shear
The words wind and shear reminded me that the photo of you in the engine always makes me uncomfortable. I can’t help but think of you there, for a moment, with the engine running. There would be wind but it would not be the thing sheared!

Yah, it was a little eerie taking that picture, too. Obviously the engine was shut down… and if someone started it, there’d be plenty of time to get out before it really started going, but it still makes ya think 😉 The other thing that feels funny about it is that the inlet actually slopes down a little bit so it’s actually kinda hard to stand right there. Maybe now I’ll need to get one in the DC-10 🙂
