I finally got my Porc Fest Pics up. Some of you are in them 😉 Here they are:

If anyone can help me out with names, that’d be great. I think I got most of the ones up there right, but there’s some I’m not sure of and some I just don’t have at all. I’ll happily include names for anyone who is in a pic…
Off to Frankfurt tonight. Can’t wait to have a good meal there. This place (Alexandria, LA) is driving me nuts!!!
Hey Varrin it’s Mike. Good to see you on here, going to add you as a friend. Wow you got your own name as a username, lucky it’s unique lol.
I can pretty much have my own name on just about anything (case in point, my old license plate). Gotta love that! 😉 Hard to stay anonymous though…
Enjoyed hiking with ya! Looking forward to next year’s hike!
Thanks
I really appreciate your help that weekend. You made getting and staying up there much easier than it would otherwise have been!
Hey, I just read that you’re the organizer for next years’ Porc Fest. I also read that it’s going to be held July 23 – 31. My hubby is trying to figure out what days he needs to have off work, so I was wondering if you have any idea when the majority of the programming is going to be, since I doubt we’ll be able to be there for the entire week!
Heya kitnish. Thanks for the good question. We were going to send out an announcement a couple of weeks ago, but my marketing guru vanished without a trace. I’m in the midst of packing (can you hear the sad, sad, song in the background?) so I haven’t had time to do it myself.
But the short answer is that the big scheduled activities are going to be the second weekend. At this moment, we’ve got scheduled events as early as Wed. the 27th of July. I don’t think we’ll schedule too much earlier than that, mainly because we want to leave some free time for socializing, getting to know each other, town tours, house hunting, etc. etc.
A formal announcement should be along soon and more definite schedule information won’t be far behind.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. I can be reached at varrin@freestateproject.org. 😉

Great! That will give us something to plan for! Thanks. 🙂
