Old letters
I just read through three letters I wrote in 1991 and 1992. Thanks to Paul for sending them. I thought I had kept them but they got lost somewhere along the way. I’m glad he had them! One was to a judge over a ticket I got from a backpacking … Continue reading
Laptop round two
After just under a week of ‘playing’ with my new laptop, I’m calling it good. Initially, I thought I’d just install Mandriva Linux and go on my merry way, but I thought it might be more beneficial for both myself and others to take some extra time and document the … Continue reading

Though I don’t have anything established yet, there are some topics that I am likely to write … Continue reading

Feels like home?!?
So I made it back to Shanghai this morning for the first time in months (since June). Feels so familiar… almost like home… Okay, not really, but it does feel good to be back. I like this place… Music tonight, touristy things tomorrow… 😉 V-
No hats
The Captain wakes me up… “want to meet at the bar in a few?” So I wander up to the bar. The bar tender tells me I can’t wear a hat in there. Whaaaaat? So, he and I (messy hair and all) and the other F/O sit down for a … Continue reading
