Pondering a return to journaling

I’m pondering a return to journaling, but in a more organized fashion. In the past, I simply posted. Nothing was tagged, nothing was access controlled, nothing was fed elsewhere, it was just there.

I have conversations via IM, email, and other means, as well as lots of non-conversations (deep thoughts with myself). None of that appears here and maybe a lot of it shouldn’t, at least not untagged and/or to the public. I’ve been poking around LJ’s features and it appears to be rather powerful, particularly if other people have LJ accounts (for access control purposes). Between tagging, custom friends lists, and various syndication options I didn’t know were available, I’m thinking I could cover more ground here vice email and other means.

Oh, and then there is my discovery of a seemingly decent LJ client for Linux…. 😉

Thoughts???

It’s me… although we had this discussion yesterday, I just wanted to voice my approval. I’m getting my journal up and running, as we speak. I love you! XOXO Edi
