So I passed the oral this morning. One more step down. Now I’m on my way home for a couple weeks off. I haven’t actually made any concrete plans for that time off yet. I’m sure I’ll figure out how to busy it up. I might take a little trip. Or I might not. I do need to study some but that won’t occupy all of my time. And, of course, I need to spend some time at home with the family. I always think that goes without saying, but maybe it shouldn’t, so I said it. <\/p>\n
I pondered writing a few more things about training. One idea that came to mind was some of the raw (i.e. ‘uncensored’) but rather funny comments that wandered around the room during class. Some were cute, others were downright crude (we’re talking about an entirely male group of pilots here), but there were definitely some funny moments. Not sure I’ll put all that out there, but I recall one of the ‘tame’ lines which wasn’t uttered until the middle of the week. “So there we were flying along through the air, … which is where we usually fly…” \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
I guess since I’ve run out of things to say (imagine that!) I’ll just quit typing. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
