Obviously I’m back to writing. I’m going to be operating differently this time around. There are two changes I’ll be making:<\/p>\n
1: Some public topical posts will be written with syndication in mind. Though I don’t have anything established yet, there are some topics that I am likely to write about semi-frequently that could be of interest to others beyond friends here at LJ. Those will be public so you all will get to read them all, too \ud83d\ude42 Currently, the topics that I have in mind for potential syndication are: liberty (and the FSP as a possible subset), and live jazz music around the world. I’ll make announcements tagged “journal announcement” when I make more progress in this regard.<\/p>\n
2: I’m going to start filtering some material that’s really not fit for public consumption (or at least according to my standards). I have used email for more personal things in the past, but often I send the same things to more than one person. Given LJ’s access control features, I’m going to try to transition to using this for things that would be of interest to multiple people but not necessarily appropriate for the whole world. These types of things could range from issues at work, to home life (beyond what might be interesting for a general audience), to business planning, and so on. I’ll filter those entries by username (or for all friends if I think that’s appropriate). If there’s anything in particular you do or don’t want to be in on, let me know and I’ll do what I think is best with that information. Otherwise, I’ll only add people who I know should receive those entries.<\/p>\n
