I am a Grandaughter

I have one set of grandparents that I have known my entire life.  My mother Mary's parents are Johnny & Janice Morris who live in Hagerstown, MD.  Until recently, my grandfather worked for Fairchild, painting aircraft and did this for most of his life.  My grandmother is an antique collector and enthusiast and has turned her hobby into a job she loves.  I have so many loving memories of times with my grandparents.  My grandma throws the best Christmas Eve parties and has for as many years as I can remember.  My Pap-Pap has the most wonderful sense of humor.  It is a hoot to watch him, Varrin and Red all together.  A side-splitting time is had by all!  I love them both dearly.

I vagely knew my grandmother on my father Ed's side of the family, Virginia Havermail.  I can recall staying with her a time or two but she died when I was still very young.

Varrin's grandmother had passed away shortly before I came into the picture but I had the blessed fortune to have known his grandfather Claude Swearingen.  He was a delightful man who enjoyed telling stories of when he was young.  He died just a few months after we were married in June 1993.  He had visited us in Florida where we lived prior to his passing.
